Primary sources
Start with legislation and current official regulator material. EU research uses EUR-Lex and the European Commission. Country findings require the official national legislation and competent authority. UK research uses the relevant statutory framework and FCA materials. US research distinguishes federal law, regulations, official interpretations and state law.
Article review
Identify the product question, jurisdiction, source provision and date checked. Use independent search intent for each guide. Check dates, scope limitations, national options and transitional conditions before publishing categorical statements. Source links are a route back to the authority, not evidence of external endorsement.
Editorial frameworks
Operating suggestions are identified as editorial methods. They are intended to organise facts and research. They do not establish that a particular control is legally required or that completing it proves compliance. Examples use fictional situations and avoid claims about unnamed institutions.
Changes and corrections
A material legal change triggers review of affected guides and links. A correction record should state the issue, amendment and review date. Maintain a source registry and connect it to topic and lifecycle metadata. Human editorial review should precede the public indexing release.
